1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website and/or requesting a demo or purchasing MOZZO services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
2. Description of the Service
MOZZO is a point-of-sale (POS) and digital management platform for food & beverage businesses. Certain features may require internet connectivity, compatible devices, and proper configuration.
3. Quotes, Plans, Payments and Billing
Prices, plans, included modules, billing cycle, and service scope are defined in the applicable quotation, proposal, order form, or contract. Unless otherwise stated, payments are recurring according to the agreed frequency.
4. Support and Service Availability
MOZZO provides support through the channels and hours communicated to the customer. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available; however, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, third-party issues, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for the proper use of the platform, internal operations, staff training, and the correct setup of devices, network, printers, and any related equipment when applicable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the website or service to:
Engage in illegal activities
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s operation
Introduce malware or exploit vulnerabilities
Copy, scrape, or misuse content or data without authorization
7. Intellectual Property
All software, trademarks, logos, designs, text, and other materials related to MOZZO are owned by MOZZO and/or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without prior written authorization.
8. Privacy and Data
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy. The customer retains ownership of their business data. MOZZO may process data as necessary to provide the service, deliver support, maintain security, and improve the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOZZO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or services—especially where such issues are caused by third parties (internet providers, power outages, hardware failures, or other external dependencies).
10. Suspension and Termination
MOZZO may suspend or terminate access in cases of material breach, misuse, or non-payment, as applicable under the relevant commercial agreement. Termination conditions may also be defined in the quotation or contract.
11. Changes to These Terms
MOZZO may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will be published on this page with the updated date.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
